Meet Mark Cressman
Dad. Husband. Guy who fixes sales systems and actually enjoys it.
I live in the Niagara region with my wife and our four boys. My mornings start with packed lunches, missing shoes, and the kind of chaos that makes running a business feel calm by comparison. If you can get four kids out the door on time, you can handle just about anything.
That same energy is what I bring to the businesses I work with. I’m organized, I’m calm under pressure, and I genuinely enjoy figuring out the mess. Sales just happens to be where I do it.
Why I Started Side Car
Because I kept walking into businesses and finding the same stuff. Pipeline that’s more hope than forecast. CRM that nobody trusts. A team that works hard but can’t describe how sales is supposed to work because nobody ever sat down and figured it out.
The advice out there wasn’t helping. Too generic, too theoretical, or too motivational. I wanted to build something where you actually get in the business and stay in the business until things work. So my wife told me to stop complaining about it and go do it. So I did.
What I’m Like to Work With
My clients would probably tell you I’m easy to work with, that I make them laugh more than they expected, and that I ask questions they hadn’t thought about before. I think that’s a pretty good description.
I’m honest. If something’s not working, I’ll say so. But I’m not trying to catch anyone out or make people feel bad. We’re just figuring it out together. Most of the time it’s a lot less scary than people expect going in.
I stay on top of how AI is changing the way sales teams work, and I’ll bring that into your business where it makes sense. No jargon, no overwhelm. Just useful tools your people can actually use.
And I’m not just around for the setup. I stick around, working with your leaders and your team. Training, coaching, keeping things on track. That’s the part I enjoy most, honestly.
"If I can manage four boys before 8am, I can handle your sales team."
Who This Works Best For
People who’d rather have a real conversation than a polished presentation. Owners who can laugh at the mess and then roll up their sleeves and fix it.
Not a fit if you’re looking for someone to handle sales for you, or just tell you what you want to hear. But if you want someone in your corner who’ll help you figure it out, that’s exactly what I do.
Next Step
Apply. Quick conversation. We’ll figure out pretty fast if there’s a fit.
